Weddings and Parties

In addition to our fabulous Bed & Breakfast, we also offer wedding and party facilities to include catering services. In this beautiful Victorian setting, the bride and groom can have their dream wedding in our fantastic gardens or in the main hall.

The glowing bride can make her entrance down the beautiful staircase to be married on the first landing. Have your garden wedding under a beautiful white tent or in the open air with the sounds of the waterfalls in the background.

Have your reception on our grounds as well. Receptions can be beautifully catered by Shearer Elegance. Contact us for your dream reception.

Baby and wedding showers, anniversary and birthday parties are also the most beautiful and special occasions when celebrated at Shearer Elegance.

All parties are customized to each individual taste, whether you require something elegantly elaborate or simple and comfortable. From a light brunch to an extravagant hors d' oeuvres cocktail party or even a 5-course dinner — Shearer Elegance can do what's right for you.

Personalized Tours

Pesonalized tours are available by appointment for groups of 10 or more. To make your visit more authentic, your guide will be dressed in Victorian costume. Tours last approximately one hour and include much history about the Brownback Mansion.

Tours are $7 per person and are available by appointment during the day or evening throughout the year. Bus tours are welcome. Light refreshments, lunch or dinner can be served with advance notice.
