Lodging Policies

We generally do not have a minimum night stay, however, on Holidays or local Special Events (Festivals, Shows, etc.) we require a 2-night minimum stay on those weekends(Fri-Sun).  

CANCELLATION POLICY:    **Shearer Elegance Bed and Breakfast is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 3 (three) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Your timely cancellation will entitle you to a full refund of entire reservation, minus a $20 cancellation fee.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than three (3) days notice, shorten your stay, check out early, or a no show,  please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.(minus $20 cancellation fee).

A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings, reservations exceeding 7 consecutive nights, and for holidays/ special events.

Any deposits are forfeited if cancellation is not received within policy guidelines.
If using a Gift Certificate, and reservation is canceled, your certificate will be considered REDEEMED.

**CHECK IN/OUT POLICY
Check-in: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements. Additional charges may apply.

Check-out: 11:00 AM. Late Check out is available if arrangements are made in advance. Additional charge of $10/hr after 11am.

**Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

**Sorry, no Pets.

**Children 12 years of age and older are welcome.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver’s license. Gift certificates are not transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
Please try to redeem Gift Certificates in a timely manner. No extensions past expiration date can be made.
